About Me

I am currently a junior at the University of South Florida working on my Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. I plan on pursuing a graduate degree in cosmetic science. I am passionate about increasing science literacy and I believe instilling in our youth a love for chemistry is imperative in fostering a generation of scientific innovators. I tutor High School Chemistry and General Chemistry I and II. Since chemistry is my foremost passion and the primary subject I study and hope to pursue a career in, it is my favorite subject to tutor. However, I am also happy to tutor in K-12 English and Writing. I am a strong communicator and have a comprehensive grasp on the fundamentals of grammar and writing composition. I excelled in my college composition courses and received the Milton Spurney Award for expository writing from St. Petersburg College for a literary analysis paper I wrote in 2019. I have tutored kindergarten students at Seminole Elementary School in math, science, reading, and writing. I have also helped out many of my classmates in chemistry courses at the university level.
