About Me

My teaching philosophy revolves around ensuring a student is involved in the entire process. In addition to getting input from parents or guardians (where applicable), I believe students should be given the opportunity to explain and explore where and why they think they are struggling. During my time in the US Army Nurse Corps, I precepted student nurses during their clinical rotations and continued to do this as a civilian working at Arkansas Children's Hospital. I attended Temple University for 3 years to study athletic training prior to the decision to change my major to Nursing. I attended nursing school at Salisbury University and graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).I offer tutoring in College Application Essays, NCLEX-RN testing, Nursing School courses, and Pathophysiology. My interests outside of academia include: fly fishing and fly tying, archery, and gymnastics.
