About Me

I am a graduate of Emory University and Georgia State University. I have undergraduate degrees in African American Studies and Art Education and a masters in Art Education. I've taught both middle and high school visual arts for over ten years. I currently serve as a homebound tutor for my school. As a lifelong learner, I appreciate the value of education and want to to impart that same love of learning to my students. My role as a tutor is to be a guide and a coach. I want to equip my students with a "can do" attitude and give them the confidence to reach their learning goals. My hobbies and interests include volunteering, painting, fitness, and travel.
