The test has 230 multiple-choice questions, and the total time you'll spend at the test center is around seven hours and 30 minutes. The exam covers concepts that medical school faculty and medical school students think should play a role in an aspiring medical student's success. The Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills portion has 53 questions comprised of nine passage-based sets of questions. It measures your skills in English, the humanities, and social sciences.
