About This Class
The college admissions process is more complicated and involved than ever before – so students need a lot of support and “project management” while parents find themselves navigating a process far different from what their generation went through. That’s why, each month, this series brings in an admissions officer from a top school to lead a session specifically designed for parents, covering the questions you’re navigating behind the scenes like how involved you should be in essays, what your role is in guiding school research and building a school list, and what informal deadlines and milestones you may not even know about but can’t afford to miss.
Speakers and topics rotate monthly, with hosts including admissions officers from schools as prestigious as Harvard, Columbia, and the University of California, who bring additional experience in admissions consulting, scholarship panels, and financial aid. Register for the series and you’ll receive notifications about each event through the year and receive recordings after each session, as well.
