I graduated from Harvard University with a degree in Psychology, and have two Master's Degrees - one in International Health and one in International Development and Economics. I've been writing professionally for more than 10 years, both for work and for fun. I tutored elementary-school age children for four years, in basic subjects across the board, as well as high school and college-level students in writing. When I'm working with students, I want to teach them the tools to approach a problem (or a paper) with confidence. It feels like I've spent most of my life in school or taking tests, and I know how easy it can be to freak out in the testing situation, or with a blank page in front of you and no idea what to do with it. I work closely with the student to figure out a learning strategy that works best for them, and take a great deal of pride in seeing students succeed in the subjects they find particularly challenging (for me, it was Economics. Never again). In my spare time I write, read, and chase my three pets around the house, since they are usually in some kind of trouble.
