Need a tutor who can fit your needs and bring out your best work? I am an experienced teacher having taught English in Korea for three years. There, my students learned test preparation, essay writing, public speaking/debate skills and a plethora of other subjects. I use a fun yet firm approach, as positive reinforcement and enthusiasm are the best motivators for young learners. Well spoken and a strong communicator, my methods raise grades and push students to become more individual thinkers. As a former ESL teacher and world traveler, I am attune to various cultural sensitivities and use that knowledge to cater to specific learning styles. Everyone processes information in a different way, which is why flexible teaching and comprehensive lesson plans can bring out new ideas. For my clients, I teach anything from SAT and TOEFL prep to grammar and advanced syntax. College essays from students of mine stand out in their content, composition and writing style. Everyone has a unique story to tell; it's my job to help students realize that story and convey it in the most effective way possible. Extensive classroom experience has allowed me to develop session plans that engage pupils, while encouraging them to use critical thinking.
