I am a recent graduate from the University of Georgia, with a bachelors in Biology. Currently, I am working for a stem cell research lab at the university. I am super passionate about helping students of all levels grow into the smart young learners that I know they are. My teaching style is very nurturing. I am patient and understanding of their needs and will do whatever it takes to achieve their personal goals.

I am a certified English teacher for grades 6-12 with a Masters degree in English Education from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelors degree in English Literature and Writing from Sewanee the University of the South. I have taught in both Tennessee and Georgia public middle schools to diverse student bodies. My teaching experience is mostly with middle school aged students, where I focus on developing reading comprehension skills and helping students become better writers in preparation for high school courses. I am passionate about analyzing literature with students so they become more observant members of society and critical thinkers. I believe that students can overcome obstacles in their lives through becoming good communicators in reading and writing. When I am not teaching, I am an avid fan of reading fiction and poetry, testing out new recipes, and spending time outdoors.

I am a senior at Purdue University studying chemistry and conducting research in the department of chemical engineering. I am also on Purdue's rowing team. My passion is for chemistry but I also enjoy reading and painting.

I am a Linguistics major at the University of Georgia. My favorite area of study is languages, such as Spanish and Arabic. I have strengths in Reading Comprehension, the Spanish language, Mathematics and Sciences. I have several years of experience in tutoring high school students and I find this experience of helping others to learn very enjoyable and rewarding. When not in class or studying, I like to cook or read to wind down. I also love drawing stills of the world and people around me. I am very excited to be a part of Varsity Tutors!

I completed my Bachelor of Physics degree at the University of North Georgia, and I am currently a Mechanical Engineering student at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech). Over the last couple of years, I have tutored students from middle school through undergraduate levels both privately and through university institutions in various mathematics, physics, and computer science (Coding languages and the like) topics. My teaching style focuses on "learning how to think", or metacognition as I believe it is highly important when it comes to education. Anyone can prosper in any educational environment/topic if they know how to approach the said topic. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym, playing soccer, hanging out with friends, and reading.
