"The student and I continued work on his History study guide today, completing the review material for chapters three and four, regarding Asian empires and shifting European monarchies. His research skills are improving rapidly, and he is often finding information in the text before I do. We have one more session next weekend before his final exam to complete the last couple sections of the study guide."
"We quickly discussed the results of the student's test this week. We talked about writing equations for all problems first, then tackling the easier questions to maximize credit received. Then, we reviewed the content of Chapter 18 (direct current). We spent a majority of the time on practice problems, involving Kirchhoff's rules and charging/discharging capacitors. We spent a large portion of time on discharging capacitors' equations - specifically on deriving equations for the current from given equations."
"Algebra II: Reviewed 6 remaining questions on factoring quadratic equations. English: Instructed student on how to e-mail professor for more clarity on research paper. Also aided student in MLA formatting of sources discovered during last tutoring session, along with how to write annotated bibliography (summary, analyze, reflect) for each source. Guided student in creation of 2 of 6 needed annotated sources. Instructed student to start rough draft for essay and continue format in creating 4 remaining annotated bibliographies."

"The student and I translated several paragraphs of Chapter 10 in her textbook. I briefly touched on the formation of imperative verbs and the construction of indirect speech with verbs of speaking, hearing, and listening. I didn't want to delve too deeply into the latter, as teachers usually have their own way of introducing this construction, and I didn't want to give her conflicting advice."
