I am eager to share this with the students of Varsity Tutors. I with students from K-12 in the US, university students in China, mentally disabled adults in Harlem, and villagers in Mozambique. My favorite subject is biology and I also particularly enjoy writing, but I am happy to work on a variety of subjects with students.

I am a recently returned Peace Corps Volunteer; I spent over a year working in a small school in Namibia (Southern Africa) teaching English, Math, and Computer Skills in a resource-poor environment. I'm currently an undergraduate at Cornell University studying Biology. During a semester long break from working towards my Bachelor in Arts, I tutored Math to young students at Best In Class Education Center in Fort Bend, Texas. I am a graduate of Williams College with majors in both Chemistry and Political science. I also completed the pre-medical curriculum and plan on going to medical school. While at Williams I expanded my love of learning under professors who focused on teaching, engaging students and building relationships. I took advantage of the liberal arts course offerings and am comfortable tutoring in the core social sciences.
