Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student and I worked on the measures of angles and the principles of complementary and supplementary angles."
"The student and I studied problems on pages 65 and 66 of his text. We will continue to prepare him for his upcoming exam."
"I helped the student prepare for his test. We reviewed the topics in his review sheet for an hour. He seemed to understand everything well by the time or session was over."
"The student and I worked primarily on area and perimeter today. We took extra time to make sure he understood the meaning of each term, and how they can be represented in physical space. I noticed he was getting hung up on the Algebra concept of systems of equations when we were doing geometry problems, so I briefly reviewed how to solve systems of equations with him. Overall, he had great work ethic."
"We covered midpoint and distance formulas, perimeter and area of polygons (specifically quadrangles and triangles), and constructing angles (specifically supplementary and complementary angles). The student seems to be confident with this material so far!"
"I spent this session going over methods for determining angle measures, drawing several groups of intersecting lines, and helping her determine all of the angle measures given a few of them. At the end of the session the student mostly understood how to solve these problems, but still seemed to have questions on certain types of intersections. We will work further on those next session."
