"The student and I continued to practice with fractions and long division. We also began to do some diagnostics to identify any areas that need more focus. He did a great job!"
"Continued our work with fractions, added equivalencies along with naming fractions, finding on a number line, etc. Also continued with mental math, adding and subtracting mentally, place value, and reading/writing big numbers. Another huge focus was measurement conversions, both in metric and US customary. We added, converted, estimated, and more. Such great progress this month!"

"We started with math, and the student did addition, subtraction, and simple word problems. She did very well when she focused, but made small mistakes when she became unfocused. After that I had her proofread a short passage, and she did very well identifying where punctuation and capitalization needed to be put. We also continued working on verbs."
"Today's lesson focused on adding whole numbers in parenthesis. We also reviewed filling in the blank for addition problems, and the associative property of addition."
"This session the student and I focused on subtraction, and did a little bit of addition review as well during our math game time."
"The student requested tutoring as a way to learn more effective methods for dealing with word problems and spelling. For this first session, she did a few word problems as part of a homework assignment. We also prepared for a spelling test."
