"The student and I reviewed a couple of questions from his Calculus 2 homework involving exponential growth and decay models. Then, we reviewed a chemistry question about the average atomic mass of elements with several isotopes. Finally, we reviewed a few physics questions involving projectile motion, and one problem involving centripetal acceleration."
"Worked with the student on reading. I had him read a chapter of a book to me, and then we read together for a few more pages. I also went over some vocabulary words with him and had him spell them."
"The student has a test on Wednesday covering electrochemistry and intermolecular forces. Today, we focused on IMFs in the textbook. His teacher will clarify what exactly will be on the test before Wednesday. On Tuesday we will focus on what the teacher highlights in final preparation."
"The student and I split our time between studying for his AP US test on Tuesday and reviewing his ACT results. We discussed study strategies and how manipulating the data from his notes will lead to better information retention. We also went over the Reading section from his ACT and discussed test-taking strategies."
