"Student A practiced reading multiple paragraph passages and answering comprehension questions in complete sentences, with just a little assistance for sentence structure. Student B completed four pages worth of problems, including adding and subtracting mixed numbers with unlike denominators, finding the least common multiple, and solving word problems. They both completed nightly spelling and reading assignments with a minimal amount of assistance. Then Student A assembled a poster board to display his answers and to help him speak in front of the class."
"The concept we reviewed was polynomial long division. The student needed to see an example of how to compute. I produced an example to do and walked through the steps of how to compute. The student followed along easily."

The student's attitude was positive, and I included strategies to assist her with simplifying fractions."

In addition to the lesson, the student was given one-step, two-step, and multi-step linear equations to solve. Practice problems were left for the student to complete."

Content-wise, she is strong; however, process-wise she struggles because she attempts to do too much in her head. I told her that writing her thoughts out allows her to process better and actually get the right answer because she can identify mistakes. Other than process struggles, she is a superb student. Great session."
