Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"Tonight the student made corrections to her math quiz and worked on her math homework. She practiced expanded notation, expanded form, and standard form. Her brother practiced his basic addition facts, and he read for 30 minutes."
"Tonight, she reviewed her addition and subtraction with 3 digits. She struggled with regrouping in the hundreds column. We practiced several times, and she did much better. We also went over the rounding rules and worked several problems with 2 digit numbers and 3 digits numbers rounding to the nearest tens and then hundreds. She nailed the rounding tonight! We worked more on counting money with totals over $1.00, and then reviewed the multiplication facts. She did a super job remembering her facts. She also shared that she received another Good Job certificate from her teacher at school for being a hard worker every day! What a fantastic job! She continues to do a great job and has a great attitude! Tomorrow, we will work on any homework she might have as well as reading comprehension."
"Tonight, the student worked on her math assignment. She was rounding to the 10 and 100 place value. She was excited that she received a 100% on her reading test this week. She used the skills we discussed last week and those given to her by her teacher. We will continue to work on writing strategies and comprehension."
