"Today the student finished up his trig identities homework. He now is fully capable of finding all six trig functions using identities without my help. He also does well simplifying expressions when there options to choose from for the answer. He is making progress with using the trig identities to simplify more complicated expressions. He is definitely improving in chemistry."
"We reviewed sections 11.1-11.4, going over the content and the processes required for the upcoming quiz."
"Adding and subtracting, multiplying and dividing decimals and fractions practice. Introduction to geometry."
"We covered the mean, median, and mode of number sets and worked on the multiples of 9. I assigned extra work for the student to complete, which involved finding the mean of sets of numbers and a brain teaser activity sheet. I am hopeful that this review will help her level of accuracy for her test on Friday!"
"The student and I reviewed her test from December. She made a 94 on her last test and a 93 overall for the first semester. We also reviewed her project. She was able to answer questions I asked and explain their processing and reasoning throughout the assignment. I guided her in discussing the scaling of the floor plans and computing the overall perimeters. We previewed upcoming topics in surface area and volume."
"We went over fractions. Specifically, we covered adding and subtracting fractions. We went over multiple methods, but cross multiplication worked best. We also discussed converting between mixed fractions and improper fractions."
