Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We reviewed XMLreader, try catch, and exceptions. The student just needed help getting started and had a positive attitude. The teacher gives plenty of practice."
"The student and I went over function notation, input and output, graphing functions given domain, and graphing functions by picking points. Although she initially felt she had trouble, I noticed that she was just unsure what she was supposed to do. Once I cleared that up, she knew how to do it. I took the last half hour of the session to cover solving algebraic equations because I felt she needed work on that. I plan to continue reviewing these each session."
"Today the student and I worked on proving parallel lines. I explained and demonstrated the process, and he caught on quickly. We also studied for his upcoming Spanish test. He shared with me that he scored 104% on his last test. Way to go buddy!"
"We covered unit conversion and drug administration, but got a little bit more involved than the last two times. She has a great attitude. Awesome session!"
"The student is preparing for a test in two days, and had several questions prepared at the beginning of the session. We covered definite integrals, Riemann sums, and trigonometric antiderivatives. Tomorrow, we will review the study guide his teacher has given him for the test, of which he has already attempted to do as much as he can on his own."
"We practiced basic greetings and basic sentences. We saw the first three versions of the verb to be. Numbers up to 10. Name and genders of objects. A few articles. The singular demonstrative adjectives (questo, questa) and nationality. We also practiced the question and the negative form."
