The student and I started this session by reviewing his planner.  He has made excellent progress in utilizing the planner and had a record of every assignment that was due today and all those due later this week.  Next I worked on Geometry with the student.  Since he has a quiz tomorrow I helped him develop a process for solving two-column proofs.  We practiced this method together on three homework problems and then he walked me through three more problems.  Since our last session he has significantly improved his problem-solving skills in relation to these types of problems.  At the end of the session we went over the student's Spanish homework and we discussed how to use flashcards to prepare for a Spanish test.  The student seemed to quickly take to such study methods and I think his test scores will improve as he continues to develop and utilize strong study skills.
