We discussed colloid properties. We did problems on molality and molarity. The student improved on his ability to put numbers into his calculator. Our strategy to answer questions has dramatically improved his scores in the quizzes I have given him. He had a test coming up on Wednesday, so I assigned him problems to do by the time I saw him the following day.

Today the student and I worked on the Ear and Eye - first the medical and then the pharmacological questions. She did well at learning and remembering some of the repeated concepts, especially on the medication questions. Specifically, we kept coming across the topics of mydriatic (pupil dilation, blood constriction, pressure elevating) vs. miotic (pupil constricting, blood flow enhancing, pressure reducing) medications, glaucoma, and cataract surgery preparation. Then, we started going through the 75 question assessment test again so she could get a renewed study plan as laid out by the online system. She plans to complete the test on her own, and we will go over the plan it provides next time we meet.

Our class started with reviewing any questions the student had about her material. We did a comprehensive review on titrations in preparation for her upcoming lab. We then covered further problems about specific situations where equivalence point can be used for solubility. We also went over some problems she was struggling with in pre calc. She just needs to work on memorizing all the identities. On problems where she was familiar with the identity, she had no problem.

We will continue to work on this skill. 3. She is smart and interested in reading and practicing more on the course subject. 4. For this session we mostly practiced and solved problems.

The student and I worked on her ENVS 210 class. Her assignment was one of the 'Learnsmart' ones, where you have unlimited time and access to the textbook so it is not hard- but still time consuming. This one was only 85 questions, instead of the usual 100+. She did well with the assignment today.
