Warwick, RI GRE tutoring
In our last session together, the student and I went over math problems that he had trouble with during his last practice test. They mostly had to do with factors/multiples, and, for the most part, were all incredibly difficult. This leads me to believe that he is doing very well in the math section, and should have no problem reaching the high 150s.

Warwick, RI GRE tutoring
In this session, the student and I started by going over some geometry questions she had completed for homework. She did relatively well, but had trouble with one question asking about the triangle inequality theorem, and another dealing with circles. I believe that she is making progress with these geometry problems, but can use more practice so she can memorize the formulas. Most of our section today was focused on the data interpretation questions found in the quantitative section of the GRE. We talked about the content most of these problems will cover, and some strategies specific to these types of questions. I emphasized the need to take them slow and pay attention to the many details which are easy to miss. We also started a review of probability at the end of our session. She will complete a practice math section for homework, and some probability practice if she has the time.
