I am an undergraduate student at the University of Waterloo, studying Materials and Nanosciences. For the past three years, I have been a figure skating coach, working with students as young as three all the way up to adults. Teaching is something I really enjoy because I know how much of a difference a good teacher can make. Watching my students grow in confidence and skills is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
I especially love tutoring physics and chemistry, since I enjoy helping people see how these subjects explain the world around us. I always try to adapt my teaching to each student's individual needs, and I believe that learning feels easier (and more fun!) when we can connect the material to everyday life.
Outside of tutoring, I like organizing student events at my school and curling up with a good book.
