I obtained my K-6 teaching license through Indiana Wesleyan University and my bachelor's degree in business management from Ball State University. I have over 10 years of experience teaching Pre-K through second grade, and over 1000 hours of tutoring using the Orton Gillingham approach.

I'm a big believer and advocate for brain-based reading strategies and have found the Orton Gillingham method to be highly effective in teaching students to read. I believe all students can succeed with the right guidance, and it starts with building a foundation of sound recognition and spelling rules.

I love to celebrate the small victories with students who are struggling to read and am honored to provide the tools needed for students to become confident readers.
