Hello friends! My name is Miss Simon and I am so excited to begin our new online teaching experience. I have been teaching for almost fifteen years. I have my bachelors in elementary education and a masters in educational technology. My experiences range from preschool up to fourth grade. I am about to complete my fifth year of teaching fourth grade. I've loved every grade that I've taught but I feel like fourth holds a special place in my heart. I currently teach all content areas: ELA, math, science, and social studies with a focus being on Ohio history. My favorite subject to teach is math. I find my class truly gets excited over learning math because of how excited I get to show them new fourth grade knowledge and all the different strategies. I have also taught first grade and second grade. I can be available to help and assist students in different grade levels. I always say teaching is teamwork, not only with our friends in the classroom but also the families at home. I find it always best that everyone works together to make a child successful. I look forward to assisting your child in anyway that I can. I truly love my profession.
