I earned a BS in Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a major in K-12 Physical Education. In addition, I also completed a Teaching Reading course at the University of Nebraska-Omaha. I entered a career as an Executive Secretary and Legal Secretary, and tutored in my spare time.

I'm retired now and my passion is tutoring reading because it can open a whole new world for students. They can explore, research, travel and learn so much by opening a book. Tutoring has given me an opportunity to assist students who need additional educational support. Patience and encouragement can be great motivators for students, and I love being a part of their increased confidence and development.

I enjoy container gardening, crochet, reading and walking.
