I am a graduate of a liberal arts school in Virginia called Longwood University. I graduated here with my Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Communications Studies. Since graduation, I have been an 8th grade, 6th grade, and finally 7th grade teacher. I was also a tutor of 4th grade students and have taught in both charter and public school environments. I am most passionate about English, Literature, and Writing. In my experience teaching English/Language Arts, my class and I always enjoy the following topics: Creative Writing, Figurative Language, Essay Writing, Plot, and Theme. I think education is paramount in a person's life and a large determining factor of happiness and success. I hope to be a wonderful role model to all students I teach, with the knowledge that I am not only teaching my subject but also acting as a leader and hopefully inspiration to all my students.
