I am a graduate of New York Institute of Technology. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Arts in Communication Arts with a focus on Television, Radio and Film Production. As an undergrad I also tutored incoming Freshman at NYIT and helped students with transition from high school to college lifestyle. In addition, my past position was as a NYC Substitute Teacher for six years, teaching many subjects, but primarily focused on English and Spanish. In my experience helping struggling students prepare for AP Spanish classes or finding better strategies stay organized enhances their path for all aspects of life. Education is power and the more we understand the functions of life we are able to share our understanding with our communities. Progress is important, it's how we enjoy learning. I always tell students it's about improving, perfection can come after. For students it is always encouraged to create milestones. In my spare time I enjoy learning design skills for media as per my degree, currently I am learning special effects in Adobe's After Effects. I myself am constantly learning about personal growth. Other things I love are traveling. I grateful to have been able to amplify my perspective through understanding other cultures and what makes them unique, hence the importance of language, art and words.
