I graduated from University of Illinois at Chicago with a bachelor's degree in English with a concentration in writing and from DePaul University with a master's degree in secondary education with a concentration in English. After graduating, I started tutoring part time, and shortly after that, I was offered the position of Assistant Director at that tutoring center. I have spent over 10 years working as an Assistant Director, and my experience really broadened my experience from just secondary education in English. I have extensive experience working with students as young as pre-k up through adult learners, working on anything from phonics, reading readiness, beginners math all the way up to ACT/SAT level English and reading. I have loved tutoring because of the more personal nature of tutoring. I've loved getting to know students better and being able to accommodate them in their learning in a more individualized manner.
