My name is Dr. Michael (Mike) Medeiros I am an Adjunct Assistant Accounting Professor at Colorado Technical University. I have spent over a decade teaching financial services education for private firms, focusing on insurance and securities. I still work in the financial services sector, making corrections to employer sponsored pans to make the participants whole.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Colorado Technical University
a Master of Science in Accounting from Colorado Technical University, and
a Ph.D. in Advanced Accounting from NorthCentral University.
I want you to know I am here to help you be successful in this course. Accounting terms may seem foreign to many of you, we will take on that challenge together to help you get the most from the course material and perhaps even show you how interesting accounting can be. Hobbies

I love being outdoors, gardening, camping, hiking and fishing. I am also a huge fan of music and play the guitar and piano. To me there is nothing more fun than sitting around the fire pit with friends and family playing and singing songs in the evenings. Also, I am currently teaching my youngest son to play both instruments.
