Carlos Serrano is an Ecuadorian native-Spanish-speaking tutor looking to help students feel comfortable with math and science. His goal is connecting with students with patience while discovering study material and learning subject skills.
While in the Air Force My previous experience as a medical technician on a pediatric floor of a hospital taught me how to listen, respond, and attend to patients as children from infancy to adolescence. Patients, humility, humor, and kindness are part of learning as much as concepts, reading comprehension, and practice.
I'm available to tutor grade-school to graduate school.
I'm finishing my thesis in Biostatistics so I'm currently a nerd about mathematical modeling, writing scripts in R, and scientific writing. But I'm also and mostly passionate about cellular physiology and chemistry.
Undergraduate Degree: The University of Texas at Arlington - Bachelor of Science, Mathematics
I'm an avid rock climber and medical journal reader at the moment.
