I am a seasoned instructor at both college and high school levels and am eager to support the learning needs of all students. As a writer and a translator I have excellent command of both English and French languages, and can assist in essay writing and research in a variety of subjects. My specialty is in comparative literature, and I have earned an M.S. and a Ph.D. from the CUNY Graduate Center. I taught Global Literature at the Bard High School Early College program in Queens for 6 years, and have been an adjunct lecturer at CUNY since 2003. I currently teach Advanced Communication Skills in French and African Literature at the CUNY College of Staten Island, and Intermediate French at Queensborough Community College. I grew up in Geneva, Switzerland, and have traveled extensively in Latin America, Asia and Africa. I very much enjoy teaching literatures from all over the world, and learning from the diversity of the students I teach.
