I am a graduate of Wagner College with a Bachelors of Science degree in Arts Administration and Film/Media. I specialize in filmmaking, vocal training, visual arts, performing arts, photography, and music. Anything involving art and media are favorite subjects to tutor. Helping students utilize their creativity to channel into their work has drawn me to becoming a Varsity Tutor. I am a classically trained vocalist but love singing any genre. I am passionate about helping students find and master their voice. In college I was a part of the choir and an all-female a-cappella group which traveled the US, Spain, and Costa Rica. I have also had training in Musical Theater and Voice at the Performing Arts Institute at Wyoming Seminary. Throughout my academic career I have worked on several short films and music videos. I was awarded the Stephen Greenwald Award for Film as well as the Academic Honors in Arts Administration award for excelling in both of my majors. After college I worked as a Teaching Assistant at New York Film Academy where I spent the summer working with students from ages 9-18 on honing their filmmaking/photography craft. From there I worked as a freelance production assistant on many movies and television shows in NYC where I learned the ins and outs of the entertainment industry. I am a patient and empathetic tutor who will take the time to focus on the student's best interest. Art, Music, and Film are essential subjects to make life more colorful and I believe success and teamwork go hand in hand!
