Hi, I have been a nurse for over 20 years. I spent much of my time in homecare where much of our care consists of teaching. I decided to move up from there and expanded to a skilled facility as a staff development person. That way I could reach more people and make a difference in a patient's care.
I then moved to teaching nursing students. I enjoy helping those who struggle, just as I had as a fresh high school graduate going to nursing school.
I recently got my MSN so I also know the difficulties we have working full time, going to school, finding time to study, and managing a household.
I believe that everyone has strengths and a story to tell. I also believe that as long as you do your best, then everything else will fall into place.
