My teaching career started in secondary schools after graduation in English, Social-Studies and Government classes. Eventually, I earned permanent secondary certification in those fields. While teaching, I started law school at night and received my J.D. After passing the Bar Examination, I practiced law full-time. Still, I decided to teach law in night school and now am back to teaching exclusively. I guess it was always my first love!
Throughout my career journey, I have taught a variety of subjects and age groups. A few of the subject areas include Paralegal Courses such as Contract Law, Criminal Law, Torts, Business Law and Real Estate- Property Law. In Social- Studies , I have taught Governments, US History and Criminology courses, while in English I have taught Composition and American Literature course.
The age of my students has ranged from seventh-graders to adult night students. Always, I have been involved in tutoring to different degrees. I am passionate about education and believe in life- long learning. Sharing this passion with students is rewarding.
