Hi There,

Each one, teach one..my mentor instilled this in me since my first year of college. From since then, I've been enthusiastic about teaching and helping students improve in all academic subjects. I find it personally satisfying and beneficial to the students I work with.

I am a great communicator, listener, and can understand a student's needs. As a part of my partnership with AmeriCorps, I have experience working with elementary school children (3rd-5th grade). I still remember my excitement when my very first student received her first "A" on a quiz! I have also tutored middle school students in reading and math, as well as entry level college and high school students. Through these tutoring and counseling positions, I have learned how to best teach each age group. For example, I use songs to help my younger students memorize essential steps and methods, while I gave my college students daily quizzes to help prepare for exams. I am confident that my passion and experience are the qualities needed for Varsity's students to be successful.

I graduated from St. John's University cum laude with my Master of Business Administration (Operations Management) as well as with my Bachelor of Science (Marketing). During my almost decade long tenure at Cardozo School of Law, I've trained several staff and students on various computer applications, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, as well organization etiquette, business writing, time management and other office skills.
