Hello my name is Keishawna and I live in Richmond, VA, better known as "Virginia is for Lovers." I am a recent graduate from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English with a minor in Creative Writing and Education. I am going to Liberty University about to graduate with my Masters in Secondary Education, specializing in English. I love teaching. I have tutored students from Pre-K all the way to 5th grade and the occasional tutoring and holding study sessions for my freshman and sophomore mentees. I love all subjects but I especially love English. I like to use a variety of strategies to help my students understand the concepts they are being taught because I know that everyone learns in their own way. I truly love teaching as well as learning. I believe that education and fluent literacy and literacy comprehension is one of the most important things a person can hold in life. I feel as though learning should be engaging as well as fun and I hope to show you how much fun it can be when we work together.
