I've always had a passion for education and for helping others. Tutoring is how I combine those two passions. Every student that I take on is unique and my goal is to create lessons plans that suit each of my students so that they can better understand what it is they are learning.
I have tutored children, teenagers, college students and other adult learners. I have worked with individuals with ADHD. I've done bridge learning with elementary school children. I also have experience in tutoring biology, elementary school math, Spanish, German and English. I've done a lot of homework help and assisting with studying for tests in the past in addition to creating individualized lesson plans.
I graduated from the University of Colorado with a BA in Linguistics and German. I studied abroad in Berlin for a summer and have achieved fluency in German. While in college I took a courses on teaching foreign languages, phonetics/pronunciation, syntax/morphology/grammar, and semantics. I will be going back to college for my Master's in Library Information Science.
I have a good sense of humor and I am patient and understanding with students of all levels. I like to make my lessons fun and interactive.
