I have a masters degree in marriage and family therapy and worked with kids in therapy from pre-school age to high school age. I love kids and work well with them. I trained and handled my dog as a therapy dog and took him to work when I did therapy and we attended groups for children with grief and loss issues and anger management issues. Using my dog as a tool to teach the kids how to handle their situation shows my ability to use alternative ideas to help your child learn. I have the ability to change communication methods to match how your student learns. I would love to give your child the extra edge they may need to be successful. This is a difficult time for our children to learn and I would love to help make it easier for your child. My degree in marriage and family therapy taught me to try different things depending on how the child progressed. If they didn't, we tried something else. I think that skill will be very helpful tutoring students at different learning levels and different methods of learning; visual, audio, hands on, I am very patient
