I am a graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Music Education and a Minor in Special Education. I also attended Florida State University for my Masters in Music Therapy. Following graduation, I have not only taught music, but also used music to teach academic content of all levels, particularly young learners. I am particularly passionate about teaching early reading skills and English as a second language, in addition to my obvious love of music content. I strive to have a comfortable and supportive learning environment. I tailor my teaching approaches and techniques to each individual student. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, exploring different cultures, teaching yoga and watching sports.
