I am a graduate of Vassar College and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Physics and Astronomy with a minor in Latin American Studies. Following that degree, I then obtained a Masters of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on additive manufacturing. Since both graduations, I have moved into the defense industry as a manufacturing engineer. My day to day requires to me do research on products from my company and problem solve through difficult challenges posed to me. During my years in graduate school, I tutored introductory physics which intertwined me helping with reinforcing fundamental math skills carried over from high school. I interacted with mostly college freshman so I knew that their variety of high school backgrounds meant I would need to help even out the playing field so everyone would be able to conquer the challenges ahead in their physics assignments and exams. I find that I do have strong physics knowledge with an expertise in astronomical systems and phenomena. Nonetheless, the most prominent skill I have is in my math abilities. Without mathematics, there are no tools to support someone learning physics or validating laws of physics. This is the hallmark to a strong physicist and generally anyone pursuing a STEM career path. Therefore, I hope you reach out to me with a range of mathematical problems or questions, I look forward to a stimulating challenge. My philosophy is to be a peer and support system for my student, so anyone who uses me as a resource will leave our sessions feeling relieved but also with a new sense of curiosity and excitement to pursue even more challenging problems in the future.

During my downtime, I often indulge in many animated series like superhero shows or anime. I enjoy also playing videogames like Super Mario Bros or Just Dance. Cooking new recipes every week is a ritual of mine, I get bored eating the same stuff all the time. I enjoy exploring new areas on my own.
