Nobody thrives in life alone. Education is crucial to the development of ourselves and our communities, and so I believe every person has a duty to one another to both teach and learn. To me, helping others do their best work is part of what makes us human -- and its own reward.
As a graduate of the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications, I hold a Bachelor of Science in journalism. You can spot my reporting work on WUFT News and in The Fine Print Magazine, The Independent Florida Alligator, and even the Tampa Bay Times.
While I am trained in journalism, I love writing and English of all kinds. However, I earned an International Baccalaureate diploma in high school, and I hold the experience close to my heart. That's why I find the IB Extended Essay very enjoyable to teach, as one can get really creative with the topic. For example, I wrote about the economics behind the historical practice of "wrecking" in my home state of Florida.
When I'm not tutoring, I'm probably building a house in The Sims 4, studying politics, or reading a novel.
