I earned my B.A. in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin and my Ph.D. in Cognitive Studies from Columbia University. I've taught in New York City classrooms, private homes, and in community colleges. My specialties include instruction in English reading and writing, as well as verbal SAT prep. In the 1st-grade talent show, I read the Gettysburg Address out loud in red velvet pantaloons, which might be why I wasn't more popular in school. However, I had books to keep me company. Today, I do have friends and am usually trying to get them to play Scrabble, Words with Friends, or Taboo with me.
