I love to read about and meet people from all over the world. I have learned basics communication skills in and am continuing my studies of Sign Language. I am interested in welcoming and assisting with communication skills of all cultures. I read articles and stories about history, other cultures, old or new suggested practices in working with individuals diagnosed with a wide variety of conditions and am open to tutoring individuals needing a handicapped accessible location in my home with patents present in another room. I spend time making books, flashcards, clothes, blankets, room decorations, and anything fun for my granddaughter, neighbor's. family, and friends I love collecting Dr Seuss items to use to decorate my grandchildren room for when they visit. I buy, sell as well as donate items that I think will benefit others. I am interested in teaching, counseling, helping families find what they need to help their children. I'll make it, buy it, check it out at the Library, borrow items, or create something new to help families progress together. I love helping families with IEP, 504, and testing understanding as well as attending IEP meetings to fight for the rights of the student and their future. I read up on new techniques and talk to current teachers for help when needed. I personally live to shop for good deals, redecorate areas of my house, and help out others in need. I carry water and crackers with cheese in my car fir those in need and have been known to have a person or family meet me at a neutral fastfood restaurant to buy them a hot meal. Mostly I live for children and their familie's growth. I am a true teacher with experience going back to volunteering at the age of nine.
