I am a graduate of Lewis University, Romeoville, IL, with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science/History, as well as a Master's Degree in Divinity from Concordia Theological Seminary, Ft. Wayne, IN. Also, I possess a Certificate of Attendance from the University of Vienna, German Studies/International Relations. I have instructed Introduction to German and Basic and Intermediate German Language classes in a private school setting. With my Father's family being German immigrants, I was immersed in the German language and culture at an early age. Along with studying German on an academic level, I have been fortunate over the years to live, study and work in Germany and Austria. Frequent visits to Germany and Austria not only bring my solid knowledge of the language to the on - line student, but also bring alive in immersion for the student of not only the language, but the culture and pulse of the German people. With these learning tools applied by and for the student, it makes learning the German language exciting, informative and stimulates a desire for an on - going education in the language, culture and peoples of the German speaking countries in Western Europe. I am a member of the German American National Congress (DANK). In my spare time I enjoy family, sports, aviation and travel.
