I am a graduate of Indiana University, but also attended Ball State University. I earned my Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology (Exercise Science). Since then, I have pursued further education and am currently enrolled as a second year student in the Physical Therapist Assistant degree program at Jefferson Community and Technical College. I have experience coaching gymnastics--which I love--and I have also been a rehabilitation technician, health educator and fitness instructor. I am most passionate about teaching science classes related to the human body, like anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, exercise science, etc. Science is my favorite subject, generally speaking, but I also have a passion for reading and writing. I believe that learning is a life-long skill, and embrace creating a positive and enriching learning environment. I love creating fun, quirky phrases to help my students remember concepts they struggle with. I encourage different learning styles and enjoy the challenge of exploring how students learn best so they can find lifelong success in learning.
