I graduated with a BS in Chemical & Biological Engineering with minors in Biomedical Engineering and Public Affairs from the Colorado School of Mines. Since graduation I've been doing odd jobs to get by and my most rewarding experience was with the Denver Math Fellows. As a Math Fellow I had the opportunity to teach small-group instruction to students who were struggling/falling behind in their math class. I can tutor a variety of subjects ranging from math (algebra, calculus, differential equations) , reading and writing, chemistry, etc. I'm a firm advocate of education as it has completely transformed my life. As a refugee in a camp in Kenya, my academic prospects were slim to none and having had the opportunity of a strong education, I intimately understand the power of education and its many benefits. I try to teach students that one must be a life-long learner; always on the lookout for lessons and understanding. In my free time, I like to read, play FIFA, get active (soccer, basketball, working out), meditate and spend time with family and friends.
