I am a graduate of both Southwestern Adventist University and Emerson College. I received a Bachelor of the Arts in English: Emphasis in Writing and History from Southwestern Adventist University as a double major. I then went on to receive a Master of the Arts in Publishing and Writing from Emerson College. Throughout my time in undergrad I worked as a writing tutor in my university writing lab, a mandarin tutor, and tutored my history classmates whenever asked. I love helping people learn. Education and knowledge prepares students for the future and helps them make critical life decisions. Although I tutor a wide range of English, my favorite thing to tutor is writing. Writing is an expression of oneself. Whether it's an expose on one's personal struggle and triumph, or a report on how a plant experiment has gone in science class, the writer always puts something of themselves into the piece. Two people writing the same paper will never write it the same way. If I can help someone reach their fullest potential, and give the best of themselves through their work, then I have accomplished something. In my spare time I enjoy reading, writing, hiking, swimming, and spending time with God at my local church.
