I graduated from Carleton College in the class of 2018. After graduation, I spent a year in a tiny village in the Czech Republic on a Fulbright teaching grant. I taught English language through American history and culture, designing my own lessons and curriculum. For two years afterwards, I worked as an admission counselor in the Columbus area, but now, I am starting a Master's program in Fall 2021 at Ohio State University. I will be pursuing a degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs. I am passionate about tutoring in the humanities and working with ESL students. As a student preparing for a career in higher education, I firmly believe in the power of education, as education can open doors and empower students to change the world. When I am not working or studying, I love to bake, explore Ohio's state parks and read historical fiction.
