I'm currently a first-year at California Polytechnic State University studying Electrical Engineering.
I'm a well-rounded student, I've taken advanced classes in many different areas such as history, Spanish, math, and physics. I'm most interested in tutoring for physics, math, and Spanish, but I'm comfortable with most subjects. I took 6 years of Spanish classes, including both AP Spanish classes. I've taken extensive math and physics courses, including AP classes and college-level classes.
In high school, I tutored for two years in Algebra 2, where I learned how to implement an effective tutoring style. My approach is to help students on their way towards the answer, rather than simply providing them with an answer. I also think it is important to provide my students with tricks and memory techniques in order to help them be better equipped to approaching assignments on their own. I like to encourage independence and a positive mindset.
