I am a chess coach with over 15 years of playing experience and proven ability to guide chess improvement, having added 579 points to my USCF classical rating in only 9 months between 02/07 and 11/07. I teach students using modern technologies such as the LiChess Opening Database, Puzzle Racer, Chessable, Zoom, and Stockfish 13.
By taking lessons with me, you'll receive a personalized introductory game analysis lesson in which we'll assess your strengths and areas of improvement. I'll create a lesson plan, in blocks of 10 lessons each, focusing on the opening, tactics, positional play, or endgame and assign homework after each lesson. The goal is to drive you towards an established goal such as +250 rating points, winning a tournament, or simply deepening your understanding of the game.
I'm currently a Biology BS / PharmD student at the University of Buffalo as well as a member of the chess club.
