I am a graduate of Tokyo Polytechnic University. I received my Bachelor of Engineering in Architecture and I am currently transitioning to UX design. While living In japan I taught students conversational English and Spanish and after moving to the USA I started teaching Japanese one on one and for groups as well. I have been teaching Japanese for over a year now, mostly beginner levels. While I tutor a broad range of topics; I am most passionate about grammar, writing systems and conversational Japanese. In my experience helping other people learn Spanish, English and Japanese, I usually try to create a environment in which the student does not feel pressure to learn, but instead enjoy learning new things, I like to use the A+ method in my lessons, it means that we will always learn a plus in a subject of what we were supposed to learn, this can be through cultural explanations, grammar games, or other activities. I am a firm proponent of education, I believe that everything we learn, its what makes us who we are and that there is never too much information. In my spare time, I enjoy reading personal growth books, learning about design subjects and also created social media content as well as learning new languages and drawing.
